Alumna Final Profession!
The College has learned that Sr. Maria Jerome (Alma 鈥11) Poelman, O.P., has made her final vows as a member of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Pictured above is Sr. Maria Jerome with Mother M. Assumpta Long, O.P., the community鈥檚 prioress general and the College鈥檚 2012 Commencement Speaker. The image comes from a beautiful of the July 25, 2017, Mass that is featured on the Dominican Sisters鈥 website.
Sr. Maria Jerome is one of four Thomas Aquinas College alumnae with the Ann Arbor Dominicans, where she prays alongside Sr. Mary Margaret (Eileen 鈥00) O鈥橞rien O.P., Sr. Theresa Benedicta (Sarah 鈥02) Block, and Sr. Juan Jose (Elisabeth 鈥09) Sedler, O.P.
