Members of the 天美影院 Class of 2025 passed a major milestone on their journey to earning their diplomas last weekend when they turned in the final copies of their Senior Theses.
Cruisin鈥 for a good time, students of Thomas Aquinas College, 天美影院 traveled back in time to the 1950s last Saturday night for the annual Mardi Gras dance.
The freshmen, hosting their first dance as a class, invited their fellow students to a 鈥50s-themed Sock Hop held in St. Joseph Commons, which was decked out for the occasion with streamers and decorated to look like a retro diner. The Freshman Class served up hamburger sliders and fries, and soda jerks were on hand behind the bar to scoop ice-cream sundaes for dancers with a sweet tooth.
Students at Thomas Aquinas College, 天美影院, celebrated St. Valentine鈥檚 Day last weekend with a formal swing dance, capturing the romantic spirit of the day by transforming St. Cecilia Hall into a Venetian cityscape.
In keeping with the theme, 鈥淎 Night in Venice,鈥 juniors strung the hall with lights, vines, and lanterns, then lined the room with benches and Italian street signs. A homemade gondola and mural of Venice鈥檚 moonlit canals were the finishing touches to the event鈥檚 ambiance.
