Disbelief has begun to take hold on the ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº High School Summer Program.

In today’s foray into Euclid’s Elements, students presented some simple theorems about perpendicular and intersecting lines which will come in handy during tomorrow’s final geometric demonstrations. 

A full day of intellectual rigor behind them, students on the ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº High School Summer Program turned their attention to an afternoon bursting with opportunities for athletic competition and theological understanding.

Students on the ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº High School Summer Program kicked off their Wednesday classes by presenting some more Euclid propositions before trying to make rational sense of irrational suffering in Boethius’s Consolation of Philosophy.

Though previous excursions took students far away from Santa Paula, the women of the ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº High School Summer Program got local Tuesday afternoon with a trip to the town’s quaint Main Street following the day’s last class.

Students on the ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº High School Summer Program today had their first taste of Thomas Aquinas College’s approach to mathematics — which makes it unique among many Catholic colleges in the country.

For their first day back in the classroom after gallivanting across sunny Santa Barbara on Sunday, students at the ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº High School Summer Program were ready for a quiet day.
